Does GreenCare sell medical cannabis?

No. GreenCare is adult-use (recreational) only as of 2026. You must be 21 or older with a valid government photo ID to enter.

Can I walk in or order ahead?

Yes. You can reserve online through the live menu or walk in and shop at the counter. Payment is completed in store.

What payment methods does GreenCare accept?

Cash only. No credit cards. An in-store ATM is available.

Where is GreenCare located?

10880 W Jefferson Ave, River Rouge, MI 48218. Free parking lot out front. About 7 minutes from Lincoln Park, 12 minutes from Wyandotte, and 14 minutes from downtown Detroit.

Does GreenCare accept out-of-state IDs?

Yes. Any valid government photo ID showing you are 21 or older is accepted, including out-of-state driver's licenses, passports, military IDs, and tribal IDs.

Is GreenCare really the first dispensary in River Rouge?

Yes. GreenCare was the first licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary in River Rouge, Michigan. We opened on West Jefferson Avenue in 2017 and have been at the same location ever since. Michigan license AU-R-001545.
